I don’t think enough people use wooden kitchen utensils anymore. It seems like it is all about using the “latest” gadget. This image reminds me of the very few things I kept from my grandmother. She was the most amazing woman I’ve ever known. Made everything from scratch. I wish I had learned more from her. I have a wooden spoon and a wooden rolling pin that was hers. Each time I use them, I close my eyes and I see her standing there in her kitchen. Everything made with a cup of knowledge, a pinch of laughter, and 2 heaping scoops of unconditional love.
